BodyTone MANUFACTURER NOTES
WHY THE BODYTONE?
Studies have shown that while our muscles grow larger and stronger until around age 30. At some point after that, muscle deterioration, or sarcopenia, sets in, and we begin to lose muscle mass.
The BodyTone is a unique muscle strengthening and toning device that uses bio-electric energy pulses to exercise different muscle groups to prevent muscle atrophy. Through muscle re-education, the BodyTone strengthens, sculpts, and tones weak muscles, helping patients rebuild muscle mass.
BodyTone uses a series of proprietary bio-electric waveform patterns to cause the muscle confusion necessary to dramatically change the size, shape, and tone of your patients’ muscles.
BIO-ELECTRIC ENERGY PULSES
The BodyTone’s bio-electric energy pulses simulate a heavy workout by twisting, flexing, and contracting specific muscle groups. Generating approximately 20,000 muscle contractions within 30 minutes, BodyTone yields a stronger, tighter core and well-defined muscles in the treatment area. In most patients, the BodyTone can create up to a 30% increase in muscle development.

How many BodyTone Treatments?
We recommend that patients undergo 2 treatments per week for 3 weeks, for a total of 6 treatments. Ongoing maintenance treatments are recommended for continued muscle strength and definition.
When will patients see results?
Results are generally visible approximately 6-10 weeks after the last treatment (results will vary from patient to patient).
What should patients expect during the treatment?
As the treatment begins, patients feel their muscles contract. The sensation is not painful but can be intense.
What should patients expect after the treatment?
Minimal soreness in the muscle group that was treated. This soreness normally subsides within 72 hours.
Should patients plan for downtime?
No, the BodyTone treatment is non-invasive, and patients can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment.
