Indicated Uses
For the treatment of Vascular and Pigmented Lesions
The Diolite provides the physician all the tools necessary to successfuly treat vasular and pigmented lesions with optimal treatment results. The high power and short pulse durations give true selective photothermolysis and eliminate postoperative purpura.
Vascular:
Telangiectasia
Cherry Angiomas
Spider Veins
Neovascularization
Port Wine Stains
Pigmented:
Lentigines
keratoses
Freckles
Dermatosis Papulosis Nigra
Poikiloderm of Civatte
Clinical Effectiveness
The Diolite produces laser out-put at 532 nm which is absorbed by both oxyhemoglobin and melanin making it effective tool for the treatment of a wide range of both vascular and pigmented lesions. Unlike the pulse dye laser which has an equivalent oxyhemoglobin absorption coefficent, the Diolite does not cause the post-operative purpura, which is often unacceptable to cosmetic patients.
Accessories
ClearView Headset – Polarized Light Illumination System, a all-in-one solution to eye safety, magnified vision, and cross polarizing illumination during laser treatment for vascular and pigmented lesions.
ScanLite & ScanLiteXP Scanner
An optional delivery device that allows rapid delivery of MicroSpot exposures with controlled spacing over large treatment areas. The ScanLite allows the fcoal treatment spots to be spaced precisely to leave small, untreated zones between exposures, which act as thermal dissipation zones and then become healing centers for maximum safety and fast recovery.
