AGNES RF is a transformative technology that gives physicians the ability to provide in-office solutions without the need for surgery. It is a Precision Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling device, used in both dermatological procedures and aesthetic treatments across the world.

HOW AGNES RF WORKS

Agnes RF utilizes Radio Frequency (RF) energy for tissue coagulation and electrothermolysis. Micro-insulated needles penetrate the skin at specific points, distributing radiofrequency energy at precise temperatures to generate a tissue response without damaging the epidermis. This makes microneedling with AGNES RF simple, precise, and effective.

Agnes Handpieces:

RF Microneedling Handpiece – Monopolar RF

The Microneedling handpiece uses either a single needle or a three-pin needle to deliver radiofrequency energy to the skin. The specific needle used is chosen by the technician based on the treatment area and condition being addressed. The needles are partially insulated to protect the surrounding tissue, ensuring the energy is delivered to the targeted depth.

• Single-needle option: The Agnes device has a single-pin needle option for treatments requiring highly targeted energy delivery.
• Three-pin needle option: A three-pin needle is also available for treatments that involve a slightly larger area of coagulation.

Partially insulated: Both needle options are partially insulated to protect the outer layer of the skin while targeting deeper layers where fat cells and sebaceous glands are located.

What is Agnes RF?

How long does an Agnes RF treatment take?

Most treatments take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. For example, submental treatment could take about 20 minutes.

What should my patients expect during treatment?

There is minimal discomfort during the treatment and the patient should feel a light warm pressure. There may be redness and/or hot flashes on treated areas for a short period after the treatment.

How many treatments are required?

Your patients can see improvement after one treatment, but a series of one to three treatments may be needed to achieve optimum results. The effects of each treatment will continue to improve over the coming months.

What is the recovery time?

As soon as your treatment is complete you should be free to resume your normal daily activities. There is minimal to no downtime with an Agnes RF treatment. You should feel little to no discomfort during the treatment.

What is the difference from other pre-existing treatments?

Other preexisting acne treatments (oral medicine, scaling, chemical peels, laser, etc.) only relieve the acne temporarily as they do not treat the direct cause. Agnes RF selectively destroys the sebaceous glands where acne germs reside. Once the sebaceous gland has been destroyed no acne can reoccur in that area.
