What is EMFACE

EMFACE is the first therapy that works on the framework of the face from the inside out.

EMFACE is a safe, non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedure that simultaneously treats the facial muscles and skin to lift and define facial contours while reducing wrinkles.

EMFACE treatments combine two proprietary technologies developed by BTL Aesthetics.

High-Intensity Facial Electromagnetic Stimulation (HIFES Technology)

This patented, FDA-cleared technology stimulates the superficial facial muscles that slacken and lose volume with age. HIFES produces approximately 75,000 facial muscle contractions in each 20-minute session.

Targeted muscles include:

Frontalis (elevates the brow)

Zygomaticus major, minor, and risorius (lift the cheeks and corners of the mouth)

These rapid contractions trigger cellular changes that increase muscle volume, density, and tone, providing greater structural support to facial tissues.

Synchronized Radiofrequency Energy (Sync RF)

Sync RF energy penetrates the dermis and warms tissue to approximately 40–42°C, a temperature shown to stimulate collagen and elastin production without affecting facial fat.

Collagen and elastin are essential structural proteins responsible for skin firmness, elasticity, and strength. As natural production declines with age, skin laxity and wrinkles develop.
