The Diolite provides the physician all the tools necessary to successfuly treat vasular and pigmented lesions with optimal treatment results. The high power and short pulse durations give true selective photothermolysis and eliminate postoperative purpura.
Clinical Effectiveness
The Diolite produces laser out-put at 532 nm which is absorbed by both oxyhemoglobin and melanin making it effective tool for the treatment of a wide range of both vascular and pigmented lesions. Unlike the pulse dye laser which has an equivalent oxyhemoglobin absorption coefficent, the Diolite does not cause the post-operative purpura, which is often unacceptable to cosmetic patients.
