ClearScan YAGs 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength and pulse duration are unmatched for permanent hair reduction and vascular lesions from telangiectasias to reticular leg and facial veins.

The selective 1064 nm wavelength has strong absorption in oxyhemoglobin and melanin, resulting in selective heating of veins and hair follicles, which produces excellent clinical results. The powerful contact cooling enables treatments to be safe for all skin types and tanned skin.

ClearScan YAG is FDA cleared for:
- permanent hair reduction
- treating vein and vascular conditions:
Permanent Hair Reduction – Removal of unwanted hair or permanent hair reduction through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles, and for the treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB). ClearScan is an infrared laser that can selectively target microstructures such as hair follicles. It is very effective for lighter skin types, and because of the relatively low absorption of this light by melanin, it is the best choice when treating darker skin types. Additionally, the ability to safely treat sun-tanned skin makes this the treatment of choice for active individuals.
- All skin types I through VI can be treated. Skin Type I is very fair, always burns, never tans (usually blonde hair and blue eyes). Skin Type VI never burns (black skin, black hair).
- Vein and Vascular – Benign vascular lesions, port wine stains, hemangiomas, warts, telangiectasia, rosacea, venous lake, leg veins and spider veins.

The Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is a full-field skin resurfacing solution, capable of a wide variety of treatment options. From a shallow MicroLaserPeel® (up to 50µm of ablation) to deep resurfacing (up to 200µm of ablation per pass, with or without variable depth coagulation), the Contour TRL gives the physician exquisite control over surgical outcomes.

Sciton ProV – 1319 nm
The Pro-V 1319 nm Nd:YAG laser is ideal for endovenous ablation of the saphenous vein for GSV insufficiency.
1319 nm laser provides effective endovenous laser ablation of abnormal refluxing truncal veins. Absorption at 1319 nm occurs in the hydrated endothelial cells of the vein wall. 1319 nm is highly absorbed in water which enables a comfortable treatment for the patient, and causes minimal post-op swelling and bruising.
