What is Ydun?

FRAX 1550NM NON-ABLATIVE FRACTIONAL LASER SYSTEM

Ydun Frax 1550 is Candela’s newest fractional non-ablative laser treatment for skin resurfacing. It improves skin texture and smoothens fine lines and wrinkles. The aesthetic device works great on acne scars, surgical scars, and striae (stretch marks) as well. To ensure patient comfort with each treatment, Ydun uses a patented SoftCool air cooling system.

Ydun is non-surgical, and the treatment requires no downtime. It is also virtually painless, as it does not ablate skin the way other lasers do. After your Ydun Frax 1550 treatment, you can resume your daily activities. The skin may feel sensitive for a few minutes, but this will go away after a while.

How Does Ydun Frax 1550 Work?

Ydun Frax 1550 works by delivering precise heat onto the skin by creating very tiny and controlled damage to the treated area. This will have a grid-like appearance on your skin. As heat is delivered to the skin, it stimulates skin tightening and enhanced production of collagen.

The controlled damage also triggers the skin’s natural healing and repair process. This process involves skin cell renewal and replacing old skin with new skin. As newer skin resurfaces, fine lines and wrinkles appear less noticeable and skin looks plumper and fresher.

The effects of Ydun Frax 1550 does not stop during the treatment. Improvement lasts for months as skin continues to repair and heal itself.
